Charice: Aspiring Rapper?

I hope not!

However, she was not bad at it. She looked so cute and adorable. She really looked like she was having a good time. Chasters were surely entertained by her. I hope David Foster will not reprimand her (just kidding). Continue reading ‘Charice: Aspiring Rapper?’

Charice Sizzles the US-Philippine Expo 2008

Charice once again bedazzled the lucky people of California during the 2008 US-Philippine Expo in Pomona last August 9th.  Charice electrified the stage, actually offstage, because she jumped off and mingled with her astounded fans while singing the “I Wanna Dance With Somebody“. The crowd couldn’t contain their excitement when their idol brushes hands with them and let them take a picture with her while singing. How cool was that? I’m jealous already. Journey Concert in My Hometown

Gosh! I found out just minutes ago  that Journey will have a concert tonight at the Alltel Pavilion which is only 15 minutes away from my home. Unfortunately for me, the tickets were already sold out!

Aaahhh! It was my co-worker who told me this morning and  I almost choke him for not telling me earlier. He said he just knew about it last night when his wife told him they are going to the Journey with Heart and Cheap Trick concert.

I am kicking myself in the butt. I can not blame my co-worker for not telling me that Journey‘s in town. I should have researched  more. I am dying to watch the Journey concert because of their new lead singer, Arnel Pineda. The chance for me to see them is slim to none.

I am not giving up hope. I shouldn’t. I have a feeling I can grab 2 tickets before the concert starts tonight. If luck is not on my side, I will just wait for my co-worker’s feedback tomorrow.

Charice MMK Life Story

Charice, not only a great singer but a pretty good actress as well. Charice played herself in her life story that was featured on 17th anniversary special of Maalala Mo Kaya (MMK) last July 26, 2008. The veteran actress Zsa Zsa Padilla played as her mom (Raquel). ChaZsa chemistry was fantastic in this drama.

For people like me who does not have TFC and wished to see the episode, well, today is our lucky day.

Smile: Charice and Charlie Green Duet

I never followed Britain’s Got Talent nor America’s Got Talent, therefore, I  never knew who Charlie Green was. I’ve seen his name popped up in Youtube but I never really bothered taking a peek at him.

As I was searching for Charice‘s Maalaala Mo Kaya posting, I ran across a video where Charice had a brief but lovely duet with Charlie Green. Apparently, Charlie Green, the half Brit and half Filipino,  was a finalist in the Britain’s Got Talent and was hailed in the Philippines not just for the fact he has a Filipino blood in him but also because the child can really sing.

Charlie Green arrived in the Philippines on July 24th and basically appeared in most TV shows. He expressed his desire to have a duet with Charice on one of his TV guestings. Sure enough, his wish was granted and Charlie had an acapella duet with the international singing diva who just arrived from Italy. They sang  Smile by Nat King Cole (video courtesy of pinoybluelame).

They sounded so great and they looked good together, if you know what I mean :).  Check the video below and hear these 2 singing wonders and fall in love with them like I did:
